Finland - Turku to Tampere

Here you see another of the underground burial vaults (top photo) and the medieval frescos (bottom photo). As we were leaving the Turku Cathedral two locals started to tell us more about the history of Finland. They told us about Sweden and Russia both 'owning' Finland at some stage. Finland finally gained its independance in 1917.  It was an interesting chat!
